Shingakukai: Historical Milestones

January, 1953 8,000 junior high school students in Nagano prefecture participate in Shingakukai high school entrance examination achievement test.
May 1953 The first junior high school workbook in the whole country is written and produced by Shingakukai.
July, 1957 Nagano Homeschool started in Shinden-cho, Nagano-city.
April, 1959 Nagano Homeschool moved to Uematsu, Nagano-city.
Matsumoto Homeschool opened in Matsumoto city and Ichikawa school (Ueda Homeschool) opened in Ueda. Both are recognized by Nagano Ken as official vocational schoosl with enrollment of 700 students.
June,1962 The governor approves the Nagano University preparatory school.
September, 1963 A branch of shingakukai was established in Tokiiri, Ueda city.
April, 1964 Saku high school opened in Iwamurada, Saku city.
July 1964 Amori kindergarten opened in Amori, Nagano city.
April, 1966 Showa kindergarten opened in Yanagihara, Nagano city.
January, 1967 Shingakukai English conversation school (SLEC) opened.
April 1967 Nagano kindergarten opened in Uematsu, Nagano city. Komoro Nogishi kindergarten opened in Nogishi in Komoro city.Ueda kndergaten opend in Chuo-nishi, Ueda city.
April, 1968 The Sayuri kindergarten in Toguramachi, Hanishina-gun Mukaishima turns into a sister school of Shingakukai kindergarten.
May 1968 Shirakaba kindergarten became a sister school of Shingakukai kindergarten.
April 1970 Matsumotominami kindergarten opened at Matsumoto Nomizo in Matsumoto city. Matsumoto nursery school opened at Sasaga in Matsumoto city.
June, 1970 Susobana kindergarten opened at Isemiya in Nagano city.
September, 1972 Uedaminami kindergarten opened at Uedahara in Ueda city.
April, 1974 Naganokita kindergarten opened at Wakatsuki-Danchi in Nagano city.
March, 1975 Saku kindergarten opened at Saru-Kubo in Saku city.
April, 1978 Matsumoto Shinei kindergarten opened at Kambayashi in Matsumoto city.
April, 1979 Music education is established in all kindergardens with a piano in each room and music teacher.
April, 1980 Matsumoto Yamabiko nursery school opened at Yoshikawa-Koya, in Matsumoto city.
March, 1981 Head office was built at 1003, Minami-Agatamachi, Nagano city.
May, 1982 Donguri classroom (classroom before entering kindergarten) opened.
July 1982 Shingakukai gymnastics classroom and piano class opened.
April, 1983 A Uedakita kindergarten opened at Ueno Fujimidai in Ueda city. Ueda preparatory school and Shinshu preparatory school opened.
April, 1985 Nagano culture center was established with Shinanomainiti News paper and Densan.
February, 1989 A new preparatory school was built in Chuo, Ueda City.
April in 1990 Nagano kindergarten English class = tulip class opened
April, 1995 The first six-straight year secondary education is planned in Nagano, and the Saku Chosei junior high opened. Saku high school changed its name into Saku Chosei high school.
April in 1998 Shingakukai preparatory schools section jointly operated with Sundai preparatory school Three preparatory schools changed thier names into Nagano preparatory scool, Shinsyu preparatory school, and Ueda preparatory school.
April, in 2003 Hakuba kindergarten opened in Hakuba villege, Kita-Azumi-gun, and Usuda kindergarten opened in Usuda town, Minami-Saku-gun.
April in 2004 Usuda kindergarten changed its name into Sakuminami kindergarten owing to the merger of Saku city and Usuda town.
April in 2006 Tamagawa Donguri nursery school opened in Tamagawa in Chino city.
April, 2008 Kurita nursery school in Tsuruga in Nagano city turned into a sister garden of Shingakukai kindergarten and nursery school.
September PASS tutorial school opened in Yoshida in Nagano city.
March in 2010 Educational foundation Shinshu Gakuen changed it’s name into Educational Foundation Shingakukai.
